The credit deduction and messages count computation is done at the point of sending the message. Since we send messages in real-time, the message count is computed once message is ready to send. The hashing process only takes place 24 hours after sending the messages. Hence, there is no impact on the message count and no impact on billing.

We do not encourage due to an increase in security threatening activities worldwide. Furthermore, it is a good practise so that any personal data is protected. If you have any concern, please contact us for a discussion.

The character replacement on the phone number is not full, so we will refer with the message date/time and the phone number to identify the right message. As we still have at least 6-digits of the phone number remaining, we still have sufficient information to retrieve the correct record. The messages are hashed using a 1-way hashing algorithm. This means that if there are two identical messages, the signature of the messages is the same. This allows us to identify the right messages for checking. Lastly, our customer applications have the original message for reference.

The log will show messages hashed as the example below. You can compare the date/time and phone number to your own logs if you wish to trace the actual phone number and content. The number of messages sent, and count is not affected.
